Ted Turner

Ted Turner was born on November 19, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Although Turner attended Brown University he did not complete his education. He became an entrepreneur and philanthropist in the late 20th century, soon after his father's death he took over the family business. Ted is best known for finding the popular cable television networks: CNN in 1980 and TNT in 1988. In between time he had many more accomplishments purchasing soon to be huge companies in the near future. Soon after in 1992 he purchased Cartoon Network. From taking television stations financial troubles to profit in less than 3 years to being the founder of large entertainment companies,Ted Turner made a huge impact history.
